Thanks for this. There are genuine concerns. Most arguments I hear, however, are hyperbolic or "large-scale analogies" (the moon-and-back) that don't compare with our everyday energy use concerns. What I'm attaching is quick research - I made it with ChatGPT 4o and Google so it might be wrong.

We just used it at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as part of a "Digital Learning Book Club" with a great response. Four Zoom meetings for four chapters + async discussion. One faculty said, "This is the best PD I've had in a long time." Sparked a lot of questions, conversation, and care.
