Comparison With The Last Attempt I Did.

Pretty Sure It's Been A Year Since That Last Attempt, I Think I Did A Lot Better This Time.
Pallette Aside, It's Definitely Thanks To The Shaping & Proportions.

btw pallette on the old one was done due to me wanting to be fully accurate to smb1, not just the 3 colours, it's forced to be the mario pallette due to limitations of the nes.

it's also like this for a lot of other games, you didn't just have limited colours but limited pallettes for older games.

that's why the koopalings from super mario world look... different, it's due to them sharing their pallettes with other sprites in the game.

if you've only learned this now, then i did a good.

An Honestly Kinda Meh'tal Sonic Drawing.

This Was Mostly Done For Myself, To See If I Am Still Okay When Shading, Blending, & What Not With ColoUr Pencils.

This Was All Completed In Less Than An Hour By The Way, Which Is Why The Black Background Feels "Last Minute" In Comparison.
