You could have stopped at “He also insists the plane will be in service.” Happy to be proven wrong but the guy drives me nuts.

Haha fair enough. Last question… is PR business class worth it on their 350/330? The route in business class has good timing and price.

Thanks, Seth! My preference would be longer leg timing for a good sleep. For example, aside from the long layover, the price on this trip isn’t terrible, but the long leg is during the day which isn’t my preference.

Yeah this one is easy to find for me and may be my best bet. If I consider using extra cash or points for O or J, there are better options I think. Singapore Airlines has a great option.
