I have been reading the first volume of Paul Pope's TOTAL THB volume 1 and am pleasantly surprised at how well it holds up. A very fun read with some outrageous action. Thanks J2 @jasoncopland.bsky.social for alerting me to this release!

For some reason I got the Proclaimers in my head the other day on my was to work. There were some great songs on Sunshine on Leith, which I had on vinyl. When 500 Miles was doing its first round of being a hit.

Latest Clone Wars struggle: man, the Muun people character design just bums me out! I hate to look at them! I guess they are banker people and are supposed to be offputting?

The Adjuster by Atom Agoyan. Really all of his 90s output was unique and elusive. Good 90s stuff.
Also I had this poster in my room for years, torn off a construction wall somewhere in downtown Toronto.

Nick Craine was a year or two behind me. Maybe his most famous book was the adaptation of Hard Core Logo. Maybe you have never heard of him. But when he was still in high school he started drawing a comic called Cheeseheads.
