idk if i’ll post him beyond this one closeup bc i’m still insecure abt it but he’s so beautiful that i’ve been just sitting here frozen and staring at my screen for hours what the fucjkkk,,,

procreate closeup screenshot of OC Gnnaedir (he/him lesbian but his Gender is Super Fucked Up beyond that) created with a joint effort bt photobashing and painting digitally. if you somehow haven’t seen me yap about him yet, he’s (warm-toned) olive-skinned with dark wavy-ish hair (maybe like a 2c-3a here?) and the biggest most ridiculous full-of-love eyes you can imagine (he’s got heterochromia, his left eye’s blue-violet and his right is honeyed and hazel with flicks of green). if you must know, HEAVILY used Simone Ashley and Cole Kippes as base interpolations bc he is very hard to get right for me but this one’s pretty darn close yippieeee :3c he’s got some ceremonial maroon face paint across his cheekbones and over the bridge of his nose, with lines below horizontally drawn from the edges of his face inward, stopping before his nose. his eyes are bright and his lips are very lightly curled upward into a gentle, barely-there beginning of a smile.

genuinely terrifying to me,,, tbf i am not the best at using references so these photobashed ones are out of my usual style/rendering tactics (even with any overlaid painting) but i think of the artists whose work HAS been fed into the slop machines and it makes me so uneasy and upset for them :(

nightmare scenario happened (saw a reel where someone photobashed their OC and thought “ooh i wanna try that” and DID have so much fun but then bc of the color palette and the minimal, textured blending i got filled with the fear that it could end up looking a!-generated and now i can’t unsee it) :(
