Exactly. I do think we should buy locally from local farms rather than supermarkets where we can though

How about we stop listening to an Afrikaan racist billionaire? These people are idiotic.

XD The idea of "Trump" being mentioned in the same sentence as anything to do with education is hilarious.

It took me YEARS to find this film, what a movie. Perfect GIF

Lee Anderson is the "welfare spokesperson" and we know why, it's because he's northern. They think he represents the north. They think the north and welfare come hand-in-hand.

Classism at his best.

Yeah and he also said "I don't need Congress anymore because of the big beautiful bill, we got it done, I don't need them anymore"

It's done. The takeover is complete.

This is exactly why private school teaches econ, but state school doesn't. "Not for the likes of you"

I bet they'll say he should've won against Biden, they'll find "proof of election rigging" thereby invalidating Biden's presidency.

Or he'll use the war-time rule as they are at "war with the left" and not hold elections.

I don't think midterms are going to happen either.
October 29, 2025 at 9:59 AM
He just essentially fired congress

Never joined a political party in my life, now a green member and proud.

I think the point is that Labour are doing some things, but not what they should be. We know a wealth tax is part of the process but they're not even willing to discuss it because so many of their donors would be affected

He supports a rejoin - sorry my language can be odd sometimes.
October 28, 2025 at 11:09 PM
I also don't think going after welfare is the way to go. This "bank account" snooping is nonsensical as is the Dig ID system
October 28, 2025 at 6:38 PM
I never said she hasn't taxed the rich. But she - and the rest of labour - are still accepting meals and gifts from billionaires. Not to mention kowtowing to morons like Trump.

Least now they are finally saying the quiet part out loud with regards to Brexit though
October 28, 2025 at 6:37 PM
They pulled back the Non-Dom policy and it became a lame duck.
They got rid of hereditary peers, whereas he said he was going to abolish it.
I've fallen for nothing. They made promises that haven't been kept. Not to mention the Farage-esque language in relation to immigration
October 28, 2025 at 6:36 PM
Or it will put the shitters up Starmer and he'll sack off this neo-Liberal nonsense that has been hanging around for the most of the last 10 years in the Labour party
October 28, 2025 at 6:34 PM
By which I mean remove the allowance on dividends. Basically make gained wealth taxed more than earned income.
October 28, 2025 at 6:29 PM
Oh I agree. It's part of a toolbox. We need to address Corporation Tax, Capital Gains, introduce tax on dividends etc.
October 28, 2025 at 6:28 PM
I literally just Googled his name, then the word "NATO"or "Education" and found everything he has said on those topics
October 28, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Which part?
October 28, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Utter nonsense.
He said he supports an eventual departure as long as there is a defence alternative in place.

He believes the current NATO policy is too militaristic and needs more of an emphasis on peace.
