7 years at Lucasfilm today. I’ve lost count of “pinch me” projects, but these stand out: a Disney attraction, a VR launch title, a PlayStation game, a Star Wars movie, the first Star Wars TV show, and a Marvel movie. I’m incredibly grateful I get to fulfill my childhood dreams

I love the clear correlation I can make that running my HVAC improves my air quality in my office thanks to the home data collection I can do with @googlenest and my @esphome_ VOC gas sensor and particulate sensor, and their integration with @homeassistant, @InfluxDB & @grafana

Figured out how to use the `integral` function in @InfluxDB Flux queries to turn my solar power into an estimate of total energy. This calculated data matches the stats in the @Tesla app, so I think I nailed it! My understanding of Calculus paying off in the real world! #math

DIY air filter in my office is way more effective than I expected. The room still isn’t dropping to healthy levels but it’s an improvement.

I propose we need the same kind of digital locker for games that movies have. I understand better than most that releasing the same game on different platforms is a different level of investment than releasing a digital video on different platforms. I still said what I said.

So I asked ChatGPT to write me some Python to do the same thing directly from the video file. Holy shit it worked and it's really really fast. Here's the first results, another 30 min video turned into star trails, or plane trails.

Oh wow! My custom @esphome_ air quality sensor uses a BME680 (it detects VOCs) and it works! I came in from snowblowing at 1:30 and sat in the office where this sensor lives. Clearly radiating gasoline from my clothing for hours! @esphome_ @home_assistant @InfluxDB @grafana

I'm really enjoying having a rain gauge connected into my home automation Grafana dashboard. So easy to slice it (with Influx flux queries) by totals vs rate, but it's all from a single data point.

My largest single piece print to date, a cool board game card holder I found on Thingiverse. And amazingly it was a successful print on the first try, finishing in just under 7 hours. #catan #3dPrinting

Today’s weather has been a ride. 55.6°F down to 18.9°F and still dropping. It was so wet and then so cold that my wind speed meter froze up for the first time! So I had to brave the elements and get it unstuck again. #weather #winterStorm
