John, when you manage to log in, take my word on something: There's a mod (available on the Steam Workshop) for Halo 1 called 'Ruby's Rebalanced', that I guarantee you will absolutely LOVE, and which will most likely become your 'preferred' version of the game. You really should try it.

Obviously depending on whether you like it or not, but there’s an amazing fan ‘remastered’ version of Alien³, called the Legacy Cut. Amazing for the improvements to the visual effects alone, in my opinion. 4K version is 46gigs, but worth it: www.A34K.net

I'd only seen the original, theatrical release once or twice, due to the vastly superior & improved 'Assembly Cut'. However, there now exists a superior version; the fan-made, 4K-upscaled 'Legacy Cut'.
