No kidding. Like, using the rules that are general enough to cover any situation the DM comes up with, to cover situations the DM comes up with is SOO HARD! Can't do that, we need explicit detailed instructions for every single thing that might come up. /s

If you need concrete rules for every situation and can't adapt general rules, you shouldn't be a DM.

The DM tells the story using the mechanics, yes. What part about that is confusing? That there aren't rules for telling the story? That you aren't specifically told that there is more than just combat?

Read again. Not a single roll. Multiple. You versus someone else. Specifically "Win X before lose Y", replacing X/Y with numbers. Like "best 3 out of 5". I even pointed out how to add guard rails.

Using the combat system was an extra for murder hobos.

Unless they've removed skill checks and saving throw, yes. "Get X wins before Y losses" is classic. Add a set number of saving throws the avoid losing for flavour.

Hell, if you're a combat junkie you could just use those rules, replacing your attack with one skill and armor with another.

Some people over there are incapable of understanding that things in their feed are not directed specifically at them. I mean that literally. Just like the people who answer product questions with "I didn't buy this why are you asking me?"

Just because the books include combat rules, doesn't mean you have to run a combat every session. Sometimes a dance competition is more fun.

How did you avoid replying with "citation needed"?

People really seem to be missing the "work computer" part. Literally the fourth and fifth words.

I'd bet that each of those programs was requested by someone, and then distributed to everyone so IT had to do less work individualizing or grouping the systems.

Wow. Glad I learned that now, before I bought my wife one. Not being able to play music from all the youtube musicians she finds would ruin our car rides, lol.

Iphone doesn't have a built in music player? That seems like a weird thing not to have.

Whatever, I'm just so bored of key lime...

It's so enshittified that I've started hearing people say "searched" instead of "googled" during meetings.

It doesn't matter - his daddy bought the Supernintendo.

Masks are to protect the people around you, because there is a lag time between being able to infect others and showing symptoms yourself. Idiots like that guy assume that the mask is to protect one's self.

Yeast is a microorganism. Bread kind of requires it.

Yeast is also a food source for other, less friendly microorganisms. Any homebrewer or fermenter can testify.

HSA's are a Pain In The Ass. Not just for the user, but also for every front desk person at the docs office. Not only do you need full receipts with specific information on them every time, half the time that isn't enough and you have to go back to the docs office months later to get more.
