OTD 2019 Malcolm Whitehead, the lead figure at Factory's video wing, Ikon, passed away after a long illness. Malcolm filmed Joy Division at Bowden Vale and made the Joy Division film that is briefly shown in Grant Gee’s film.
He was 70.
