Audits won’t find anything ‘wrong’ but I suspect they could ask a simple question… is there one or two countries which gets an awful lot of 10-20 votes from people compared to others which just get 1 or 2? That’s the data needed.

If you were strongly motivated in some way to make a point about your country’s participation, and perhaps encouraged by leaders in your community, it doesn’t need a vast dark conspiracy or hackers… just a small effort.

Costs a Euro to vote online… for about €20k you could all but guarantee 12 points from the market… biggest barrier would be needing 1,000 credit cards, but most people have a few cards… you might only need about 250 willing volunteers.

The public Spanish televote data is actually insane. I assumed millions of votes were cast and it was a huge effort to mobilise people to make an impactful difference…a mere 145k votes cast IN TOTAL in the Spanish Televote.

The ONLY reason to have a #Eurovision voting system which allows multiple votes for the same country is greed/profit… but in doing so it makes it vastly easier for a small group of people to influence the vote… each one of them able to equal 20 normal voters (more with multiple phones, cards etc)
