Doubt this will be surprising to anyone but Deathstalker really exceeded my expectations. Funny, earnest, great action, super game cast, definitely made by people who love fantasy and sword + sorcery.
Looks fantastic, the creatures and practical effects are so well done. And there's so many!

Doubt this will be surprising to anyone but Deathstalker really exceeded my expectations. Funny, earnest, great action, super game cast, definitely made by people who love fantasy and sword + sorcery.

I think I'm still processing the whole thing but I watched Angel's Egg for the first time on Tue and have been thinking about it since. It's a really heartbreaking, surreal and poignant film filled with a lot of (for me) particularly religious symbolism.

Safe House is a fun concept with over-edited action over edited but it kept me entertained.
