You don't need to own any shares to join the Trust. You become a shareholder in common when you join. One share is enough to get you entry to the PLC AGM though which you might want to do particularly this year.

Well I am now very glad I asked that question! It makes me feel better about how many there are in my garden. I still don't want them eating and destroying my plants so I am still going to remove them or kill them if necessary. Sorry.
