A.I. art hurts real artists.
It is the death of meaningful art.

in which we return again to the dawn of the 1980s - both epoch and vibe - and strike the midpoint of the Dark Phoenix Saga: with the rest of the team beaten, Wolverine stands alone as Jean Grey falls even deeper into the realm of rank villainy, pushed by the despicable mind control of Mastermind

While the right lose their goddamn minds about a lone wolf doing something horrendous in DC today, let’s not forget that last week in the White House they all gushed over a genocidal, journalist murdering tyrant whose country financed 9/11.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

Welp, I’m hooked.
Looks like Nexus will be my next First Comics collecting goal. This graphic novel was a great introduction to the character, and the storyline was like nothing I had imagined. This is not a superhero tale.

Any random Jaime Hernandez page is a masterclass in composition and comics storytelling. I don't know that he's ever drawn a just-okay panel, ever.

I can't put into the words the visceral hatred I feel towards the administration in the US. The pain their behaviour is causing to Ukrainians is unforgivable.

Ukrainians have russians terrorising them with missiles & drones. Now the US is terrorising them with russian demands for capitulation.

Come on, @nytimes.com. There is a massive scandal brewing that Russia authored the purported American "peace" plan and *these* are your headlines on what is happening?

There’s only 3 things you can do in the comic book industry. Setting aside formats, genres, delivery, for a minute: 3 things. 1: Work for 7-8 publishers. 2: find a rich guy (one rich guy or small pub headed by rich guy) 3: self-publish (crowdfund, etc). That’s it. It’s not easy, good luck.

DOGE was created for data theft and infrastructure dismantling and it wildly succeeded on both counts within the first few weeks of its existence. It will take a generation to rebuild what it destroyed and the breach of data is unprecedented.
Bye bye, “DOGE”.

It no longer exists as a “centralized entity”, according to the Office of Personnel Management.
