Some adults pretend like 67 is the death of the universe as if they weren't doing the same exact thing as kids.

But ultimately when kids find a harmless way to amuse themselves, I think it's our responsibility as adults to let them explore and enjoy that. I promise 67 won't kill you.

Avengers Campus was, like, obviously such a bad creative decision for an MCU park, but I don't really think you can have a good MCU park. The MCU aesthetic is just too boring. I'd maybe do something like "Avengers New York", but Marvel's Super Hero Island will always be the more interesting park.

I love teaching, but I just want to point out that the current unemployment payout is significantly more than I make as a college professor with a second job.

I feel like improv on film sets has been fetishized for tabloids at the expense of writers. Actors get credit for emotionally effective narrative and dialogue, as if the existence of film writers is inconvenient to our celebrity culture.

My studio is featured in Cartoon Brew! Super cool seeing work from myself and the rest of the team being shared here!
Exclusive: With Love is an animation-heavy virtual pen pal app that helps teach kids about empathy, emotional regulation, and thoughtful digital communication. Pixar's Dan Scanlon storyboarded the software's charming intro video, out now: www.cartoonbrew.com/apps/with-lo...

A professor gave a student a 0 on an circular essay where she said that "women naturally want to do womanly things because God has created us with those womanly desires in our hearts", called her professor a demon, and failed to cite any sources.

The professor was put on leave for discrimination.

People will do anything to feel intellectually superior. They'll sacrifice literacy for appearance.

"Arabic numerals should be taught in school" is so funny because I've never seen a controversial opinion that no one ACTUALLY disagrees with.

You can argue that "from each according to their ability to each according to their need" doesn't work in practice, but it's pretty ideologically sound.

Every dissent I've heard has needed to redefine the phrase, substituting in "willingness" for "ability" and "desire" for "need."

If you want to know how Twitter's AI is doing, this game is in the second quarter and the score is 6-3.

Way, you're telling me that the guy who said he liked to grab women by the pussy and watch child beauty pageant contestants get dressed without their consent is a pedophile?

How bad do you have to hate trans women to think this dude actually cares about protecting women?

I feel like Nintendo is the only game company that could cast Brie Larson in a movie without nazis having a panic attack on twitter.

"I'm a college professor."

"Oh so you're a TA?"

I know I'm young, but this happens way to often. I want to scream every time.

Hey @peters.senate.gov are you really this quick to abandon everything you claim to stand for? Why represent this state at all if you aren't willing to fight for it? I'm unfathomably disappointed. Do better.

There's a worrying trend of students pursuing game design degrees while simultaneously being completely disinterested in understanding their industry.

It feels like game design degrees are used to elevate ones opinion in discourse rather than actually create.

When I was in 8th grade, Rico Dowdle, who had just committed for college football, practiced with my team for a promotional video.

They stopped filming because I kept tackling him. No one else on my team could.

Rico Dowdle is now a star in his 4th NFL season, and I'm a writer who gets migraines.

I have no interest in watching all of Stranger Things, but I am deeply tempted to watch the final season with absolutely no context.

The WOKE Bible says to "love the neighbor as yourself," but I'm glad these conservatives remember the full version "love thy neighbor as yourself. But if your neighbor is an immigrant, be hostile and endeavor to send the immigrant away. For intolerance is the only true way to love an immigrant."

I might have to watch Andor again. I think it might be the best piece of media I've ever seen.

On one hand, every single doctor ever says Tylenol doesn't cause autism. On the other hand, the guy with no medical background and a literal brain-eating worm says Tylenol causes autism.

Between every single doctor and a worm, we should probably trust the worm.

I got left home alone for one day and I forgot to take my ADHD meds. I feel like I lived 7 days in 1 day, never doing any activity for more than an hour. I'm pretty sure I got some work done, I think I read a fair bit, I watched a whole movie, played a game, and also cleaned the entire house.

Somehow theme parks are forgetting that the ride queue matters WAY more than the ride. That's where guests are spending the majority of their time. The ride should be the climax of the experience, not the only part that matters.
