I’ve had nightmares about this house

She has withdrawn, but did she not know it was in Dubai when she accepted it?

When you don’t care what you get because you just want to spend money, Target has an app for that

And radio has pretty much fallen to the far right wing.

For the past 10-15 years, print has been working hard to get where TV was in the early 2000s.

My very short time in TV journalism in the very early 2000s showed that the only thing they knew was the market number. They didn’t know the mayor’s name. City Council was “boring.” They faked car crash stories for their resume reels. It was all about moving up. Radio and print were better.

I tried to find the prompt in a news search and all the mainstream media are like “innocent student discriminated against because Christian.” It’s garbage.

I love finding out that free speech means people are entitled to passing grades without doing the work. I do wonder if that’s true in the classes he teaches.

I just can’t believe that I never realized the First Amendment means I should always get passing grades on my assignments, even if I don’t follow directions or cite my sources.

I wonder if he’s ever read it.

We are so screwed. No wonder people have been actively trampling all over our Bill of Rights-- con law professors don’t even understand what they mean.

I am concerned about the people who pass his class. Can they write? Shouldn’t they be required to cite their sources? We’re in real trouble here.
December 1, 2025 at 5:58 PM
If that’s the quality of thinking in law faculty, it explains so much about where we are today.

“I have a free speech right to turn in a rambling essay with no citations that doesn’t address the question and you are required to pass me because I mentioned (but did not cite) the evangelical Bible.”

It’s wild seeing people say zeroes should be reserved for plagiarism, but she didn’t cite her sources! That‘s considered plagiarism in a lot of schools, albeit accidental/ unintentional. The Bible does have special rules in some styles, but you still have to list version, chapter, and verse!

Explains so much

I hear that. There was a point where I was almost paying to work. (And nowadays, childcare costs way more than what actual working, ethical journalists can make.)

Doesn't this also ruin the brand? If OU is handing out grades to anyone who complains enough, what's the point of an OU degree?
