🔍 Has anyone come across transparent antifouling coatings for u/w camera lenses?
We’re looking for something commercially available in the EU, safe for static u/w cameras that will keep lenses clear without frequent manual cleaning.

Any leads, experiences, or suppliers would be very welcome! 🌊📷

I was shocked when I first saw these results from standard climate models used in IPCC reports: for high emissions, the Atlantic overturning circulation #AMOC shuts down in all 9 models that ran past 2100, and is well on the way to shutdown by 2100.
Our paper on that is out today.🧵

Spotlight: The Marbled Crayfish (Procambarus virginalis) 🦞

This species is an army of female clones. No males have ever been found!

GuardIAS is a three-year Horizon Europe project that started on January 1, 2025, which brings together a wide range of stakeholders and experts in Invasive Alien Species (IAS) management.

The Marbled Crayfish (Procambarus virginalis) is a high-risk invasive species causing concern across Europe. As a Species of Union Concern, it is being monitored for its rapid spread in rivers, lakes, and wetlands.
