Home from a lovely Twitch Con, and as always the highlight was the drag queen makeup showcase! We were lucky enough to go home with an incredible haul of @trixiemattel.bsky.social makeup, and loved getting to see how to utilize it to it's fullest!

New nails for New nails leading up to spooky season!! These are gel nails over Apres tips that I did entirely myself.
Against a black background, I have my left hand fanned our to showcase my fingernails. My nails extend about 5 millimeters past the edge of my fingertips, and are filed in an almond shape. All of them are painted solid black except the pinkie, which is white. The thumb and middle fingers have white crescent moons and star shapes. The pinkie has a single small crescent moon and one star. Close up of the nails, showcasing the flat matte finish over minor unevenness and bumps. The edges of the designs are sharp and clear.

The 2D fighter genre is one of few which has inherent accessibility for blind players. Here's hoping that the team behind the recently announced "Invincible VS" will build more #Accessibility features in for their fans with visual impairments!

During Xbox's deep-dive showcase episode, I heard a something that gave me a tiny ray of hope: "That's what we're here for: We want more people to play fighting games". -Mike Willette, (Executive Producer, Invincible VS). In the same show, he'd used "accessibility" to mean "approachability" for newcomers to the genre. But the desire to bring in more players applies to accessibility as well. What better way to appeal to a wider fanbase, than by ensuring it's playable for the world's largest minority? The team is comprised of several veterans from Killer Instinct. KI was widely loved in the blind FGC for its stereo panning, combat pacing, and balanced audio mix. If they can bring these into Invincible VS and add vital accessibility options like menu narration, audio cues, and Audio Descriptions, I believe that would make it the first-ever blind-accessible tag fighter. Let's hope the Invincible VS team are listening, and they follow the examples set by Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6!

My first attempt at a French smile nail polish! Definitely could be cleaner, but I am loving the feeling and durability of builder gel.
In sunlight, I'm holding my left hand up with fingers curled toward my palm. The nails extend about 6 millimeters past my fingertip, and are almond shaped. They are partially painted with a natural rosy white, which is lighter than my skin tone. The tips are painted with an opaque black in an exaggerated curve, imitating the white tip normally seen on natural nails. The lines where black meets white are slightly messy up close, and the whole nail is slightly rounded outward with a glossy finish.

Here are some lovely cupcakes that I baked for a wedding last weekend! The flowery ones are vanilla bean, with IMBC frosting and real vanilla beans in both the frosting and batter. The red ones are cherry chocolate, with cherry + dark chocolate batter, and "pastry pride" frosting with cherry compote

Another birthday made better thanks to Cake 4 Kids! This vanilla cake was made for a teen, who only requested pink and purple colors as the theme. It made for a very fantasy-like look!

Just got my newest Zenni glasses in! I've been ordering for many years, and will continue for many more! Love how I can shop for frames with the exact measurements I prefer, and customize my add-ons.

The eyeliner is a solid matte black cat eye, which is large enough to cover all of my visible eyelid at the outer crease, and continues outward to a point that lines up with my outer browline. The inner line continues slightly past my tear ducts, into a tiny point over shimmery white. The black line along my lower lid covers the outer 3/4, softening as it gets to the center. The inner corner of my lower lid has a white shimmer. My lip is a dark, almost black, brown, in a solid color. It has a medium gloss finish. A side angle, showcasing my side shave on the right side of my head. From here you can see the contouring shaded along my jawline and nose, but it is less prominent on my cheekbones. The black can eye almost looks like a wing with my eyes closed, and takes up about a quarter of my closed eyelid. I'm wearing a bedazzled black choker around my neck.

Today I took a cake decorating class to learn more piping skills! Figured this made for a good "celebratory message" to practice my writing lol.
