Anglesey was very blue today, and Fred enjoyed some rare off-lead freedom (as he's too decrepit to bother other dogs now :) #StetWalk #StetPet #AmEditing

A bit of a weird one, but the peek into post-war publishing was fun. #AmReading www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

More gorgeous Scotland. New Slains Castle. I thought it would make a great setting for a novel, perhaps a murder or a romance or both! I didn't realise it had a connection to Bram Stoker at the time. #StetWalk #AmEditing

It's true! We had a Christmas Day traffic jam some years ago when the llamas made a break for it. (I think they're llamas not alpacas?)

I'm sure I'm behind the curve here, but if you formally object to Meta using your public posts for #AI, they tell you they won't. Not sure if they will, but I feel it's worth the time, even for my piddling amount of data. It is, after all, mine.🤷♀️

#StetWalk in the Japanese Garden in Regent's Park. I don't recall the London parks being quite so decorous as this one, but maybe that's because I used to live in Sarf London 😀

Not my usual fare, but it was on a stack of books in the bathroom🤷♀️ I liked the unnamed hero and his dry, rather cynical pragmaticism (and the mercifully short chapters). The author employs a weirdly whimsical approach to metaphor and simile. My favourite: He was as calm as a Camembert 🤔 #AmReading

Reacting to @kokedit.bsky.social post about the dangers of sitting still for too long, I got one of those clever apps that tell you to 'Move' every hour. Entirely redundant, of course, as I've already got the canine equivalent. Usually, when I've just got my head in the zone... Grrrrr. #AmEditing

Why have I not read this bonkers romance before? There is some dubious stuff in here, but Jessica is a total badass! (Read Alexis Hall's excellent review via GR for the low-down) #Romancelandia #AmReading

We all love a placeholder when we're writing, but don't forget to search for them at the end!
From a published novel:
“You two will stand before Vicar Name today, even if I have to drag you there at gunpoint.”

I just got this beauty of a bouquet from one of my indie #romance authors as a thank-you for going above and beyond. The truth is she's going through some horrible stuff at the moment, and I did nothing more than anyone would in that situation. This is #Romancelandia ❤️ 🤗 #AmEditing

Terrific fun. A 1920s spy thriller set in London with all the shady goings-on you can imagine, plenty of tension and a great denouement. The central romance is wonderful and handles complicated issues of boundaries and consent really well IMO. I'll definitely be reading #2. #AmReading #Romancelandia

I had no idea what this book was about for the first few (many) pages, but as I loved every moment of it, it didn't matter. I'm not going into the plot because I think the finding out is the point. Suffice it to say, this is charming, beautifully written and utterly engaging. #AmReading
