No real surprises; I expected some of the soundtrack songs from my son's favourite movies. The only thing I take away from this is I don't listen to music and my pods enough.

A letter to the editor in the @winnipegfreepress.com yesterday regarding #ValourFC:

A newspaper letter to the editor highlighted in yellow, titled "Farewell to Valour" by Adam Dooley, Winnipeg. The letter criticizes Winnipeg Blue Bombers president Wade Miller regarding the closure of Valour FC. The author argues that the organization did little to woo fans, the game-day experience was poor compared to the Sea Bears, and they failed to invest in local talent or replace coach Phillip Dos Santos. The letter concludes by stating that ceasing operations right before Canada co-hosts the World Cup is a poor decision and that "Winnipeg soccer fans deserved better."

If this is the sunset of #ValourFC, I do hope we find a new owner one day, or return. I have said it before, but I'm heartbroken we are at this place, and will be devastated if the worst is true.

My love for the sport of football had just properly started, and I am so thankful for the friends (@chuter83.bsky.social) and genuinely memorable moments across the seasons with #ValourFC matches.

I am genuinely heartbroken that we are at this stage, and we may never see the club we deserved.

Manitoba fans came out to support this club and while COVID hurt every club, the way the ownership (WFC) treated the fans and the sport itself created eroding trust and enthusiasm in the league and the club itself.

The atmosphere was incredible because of the supporters, and players.

Instead, RRR left their seats and the supporters section was left empty for the second half of the match. No effort was ever made to explain, apologize, or mend relationships after this.

Got a free 'stream box' (useless to me) as part of our 2-year contract. The box ended up as clutter, so I asked if I could return it. Rep sent a post QR code to return it.

Now I see I've been charged $138 for not returning it yet. If I hadn't asked to return it, it would still be free.
A bill summary for Transaction Fees. A line item for 'Unreturned Equipment Fee - Stream Box XI11SCS241901FDC(+) (04-Sep-25)' shows a charge of 138.00. The Total Transaction Fees are listed as $138.00.

I finally had enough of #OneDrive and the INCREDIBLY slow speeds to download files from the web interface, or move them around within the app/file explorer in Windows.

We have M365 for my wifes business, so the space was nice - but we have Google One 2TB, so, goodbye Microsoft!

This is just lovely. I took a walk yesterday when it was at 'unhealthy', and I woke up with the sore throat, stuffed sinus/ears and headaches. Ugh...

Why is it that Cursor IDE can create a To-Do list within its own chat interface, but it can't edit it, update or remove it?

Apparently it's a warning but the alert really didn't seem to convey that. From what I've read it's a warning and is south of the city.

We just got this in St James. The skies look very menacing north by the airport. It wasn't a watch or warning, it was an alert so I assume that means a confirmed touchdown.
