more "how do you use this git feature" questions: do you ever use `git reset --soft`? What do you use it for?

@b0rk not with filename, but I do git reset --hard ${commitid} more often then I should. Normally when I started developing some feature on my main branch, to reset the main branch after I moved all that feature code into it's own new branch.
