And this is why I have trouble sleeping, because unless I have something to focus my thoughts, my brain does this ALL THE TIME.

That got me thinking about a movie I saw called Mother Goose Rock & Rhyme. In that movie, Mother Goose makes characters come to life when she writes nursery rhymes about them. Her very first one was named Gordon Goose, and she treated him like her son.

That got me thinking about how I never had a Teddy Ruxpin toy, but I did have a Mother Goose that worked similarly, where you put in a tape and it would tell a story while animating.

That got me thinking about a Teddy Ruxpin cartoon I saw, in which the caterpillar guy made a similar mistake while reading a sign. "Oh boy, the great dessert!" Teddy replies with, "Not dessert. Desert!"

Same.
