Having had an actual chance to talk to Mike about this, his meaning isn’t clear here. The effect he was trying to achieve in v3, of humans so plastic they lose all humanity and soul, is something he could see using AI “art” to do.

All art for the games he’s working on at RTG is done by humans.

An two page interview with Maz Despair, political satirist and lesbian. There’s specific mention of the 2002 Pride Parade in Washington DC. Being Cyberpunk, there’s also mention of the assassinations that took place there, which motivated Maz to speak out as a rocker.

I’ll admit I’m biased, but I’m proud to be working on a line where queer people have been portrayed as more than stereotypes since the Rockerboy sourcebook was published in 1989.
