A lot of what she did do, tho, was clearly contempt of Congress, and would have been subject to criminal trial (and potential loss of her law license) so fast in a normal world that wasn't run by a cult....

Sadly, the one major thing that both were wrong about is how to win the presidency. It's easy: 1. Be born a cis-white straight man; 2. If you don't happen to be white, make sure that you run during the worst financial crisis of a generation and never ever bring attention to your non-whiteness.

Pretty succinct description of the problem. You forgot to mention how it's okay to be racist when arresting people you think are illegal, but it's not okay to use race as a basis for anything positive.

This type of fake imagery, purposeful or accidental (more and more it's purposeful, tho) will be more and more it's a problem. When no one can believe anything they see or read, and with the field of professional journalism shrinking fast.... How should I put this? I WORRY.

To be fair, the less some part of history is mentioned, the less likely it is that it actually happened, right? These guys might not come off as particularly sneaky, but they have studied up on dystopian bad guy tactics, and they seem fully committed to making the dream (nightmare) work.

That's when we knew we were in for it. If his supporters will look the other way on that, then there's a lot else in the way of law, ethics, and morality they'll be willing to skip past.

And we can argue good prejudices or bad prejudices, but trying to force someone to actually get rid of their prejudice is probably never going to work. Whether it's for something stupid in my opinion like anti-trans prejudice or whether it's for something defendable like being anti-nazi.

Excuse me, I wasn't comparing those two things. I was comparing the different prejudices that people might have against those two things.
