This is not how a friend is supposed to act. I think in their own way they just didn't want to see your character as intersex but just girl only. It also seems like they wanted to please everyone but put your feelings on the side. I hope they change their mind. You're not in the wrong here.

Araki made him saucy and juicy in visual and personality but also extreme and at times terrifyingly cruel. The personification in both media were perfectly displayed.
