I was there. What a bummer. Want to give him the benefit of the doubt but it’s tough. Sounded great but felt like he was rushing. In retrospect, may have been working fast to get enough of a performance in so he would have to get paid.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters w/ Charlie Sexton last night, Fillmore/Jackie Gleason Theater Miami Beach. Fantastic show. Have seen Elvis many times over the last 45 years and the ones I saw last night and early last year are 2 of the best. 70 yrs. young and raising his game. Band so good.
