After all these years, this was the first time I've been to Raleigh. I managed to avoid HQ the entire time that I worked at Red Hat. I guess I shouldn't have been that surprised when I recognized Davie St and lo and behold there it was.

We were in the peninsula yesterday, so we stopped by the Great Glass Pumpkin Patch 🎃 in Palo Alto yesterday! It was a local charity event by the public library and a glass blowing studio in SJC.
A collection of glass pumpkins in front of a tree each a shade of orange with a green stem. A shelf setup with a variety of glass objects: some pumpkins with witches hats, apples, ghosts, and notably a bat hanging from chains.

As someone that normally avoids swag, @posetteconf.com gave out some really good speaker gifts! In general, it's a really well thought out and executed conference! It was a pleasure presenting there.

Before #KubeCon, I visited Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks for some breathtaking hikes.
