it'd be naive to say that AI hasn't already made an impact on the software engineering industry. But there's a huge difference between an industry that is transforming and evolving and one that is disappearing. And it's easy to get the impression of the latter being the case from reading headlines.

The words of NVIDIA, Google and OpenAI executives are allowed to influence career guidance and forecasts of institutes that are supposed to have an objective and well-informed view.
