I found an image of a person in a crop field and decided to make this, I added a helmet to give it a sci-fi vibe and the rocks are a sort of astronomical calculator.

This is one of my favourites of the last couple of decades, the whole atmosphere of it takes me back to all the horrors I watched as a young lad in the 80s - really hoping the sequel is just as good.

This was originally meant to be a soul appearing within the "ghost world" from the "living world", but I scrapped that and I'll leave it up to the viewer to work out their own narrative.

I wasn't sure if he was real or not, but as I was watching the film I became really interested in learning more about him so I checked online and found out he "was inspired by several real-life architects and designers", but not a real person - great film though.
