Is this true? I thought his numbers were considerably higher now than they were at this time in his first term?

The idea that the president is this limitless reserve of “plenary” power (as Stephen Miller put it) to be used in any way he likes, so long as he can come up with some “national interest” pretense, is an extremely royalist idea. It evokes the idea of “Crown Prerogative” that the Founders rejected.

I don’t see how he is able to freely “express” himself under these restrictive and unjust laws.
