I think a big accomplishment happened via that election - the rejection of a neoliberal status quo. Part 2 is to take over the reins of the party via AOC. Part 3 is to primary out every deep blue district/state congressman in 2030 who doesn't get on board with the new game plan.

Everyone imitates Tolkien all the time except when it comes to the one way it would really matter: making the protagonist of your novel for children a short, fat, 50-year-old man who doesn't want to do anything.

I was lucky enough to see John Williams conduct the Seattle Symphony in 2017, and he told us the same story about how much he loved Rey. I've always wanted to write about it, and today I had the chance!

I feel like libertarianism in general is fading away. Fascism has taken its niche as "right-wing ideology that's still unusual enough to seem edgy". The libertarians I knew when I was younger are either liberals or conservatives now. Even anti-libertarian forums I once frequented have quieted down.
