I kind of love how the new Superman movie skips the origin story and accepts that we all know who Superman is—instead they’re like “ok so there are these meta humans, and there’s this war, and Superman, and now we’re gonna pick up in the middle of this battle Superman just lost…” and just carry on.

So, I really enjoy @harlancoben.bsky.social, and Richard Armitage is lovely, but…

…maybe they should stop casting him in the Harlan Coben Netflix adaptations? because the minute you see him you’re like, “oh yeah, he’s mad shady!” and it becomes spoilery…😆

OMG I’m so with you—that firehose is well-meaning but instense! I’m in that flaily period before the first book releases, trying to write the second one and kind of terrified I won’t be able to do it again.

Yes, same. Were things not as they are in this weird-ass timeline we now occupy, I’d be actually relieved that so many young women around me can barely wrap their brains around even the idea, let alone the reality, of what it was like.

I loved Tuesday Mooney Talks to Ghosts (Kate Racculia) and A New Lease on Death (Olivia Blacke) - fiction, mystery, but very “ohhh these are my people!” without hitting you over the head with the NDness of the protagonist.
