Seeing a lot of debate on the feed about whether this is *actually* AI or if it’s just old telly artefacts and, I’m sorry, but those are two completely different facial expressions from Paul surely. And that’s not even getting into the frets on John’s guitar.

Tonight’s first #TOTP is from the first week in chart history where the Top 5 was made up entirely of new entries

Do you get bonus points if you were actually in the movie?
November 23, 2025 at 9:10 PM
A movie that takes place where you’re from?

I’m 27 today, but Born to Run is 50 and I think we all know which one is more important.

Ooh La La by Coolio and Oh La La La by 2 Eivissa were hits at the same time. They even appeared side by side in the chart at one point #TOTP

I only associate the Stereophonics in my head with this, even though they’re not even on the album as it turns out #TOTP

12) The Five Day Week Straw People (1967)

Better cover than record unfortunately, but a great night-time listen on the train. Almost painfully 1967, but some nice light psych touches along the way, and I like the predominantly live studio sound of the production.

11) The Pleasure Seekers - What a Way to Die (2013)

New to me, and my god, what a band. Like Honey LTD., a real shame they couldn’t do more, but what’s here is exhilarating. It’s not just psych/garage though, there’s some great blue-eyed soul too. Only negative is the sound quality.

10) Nirvana - All of Us (1968)

New to me, unfortunately got a bit swamped by rushing to try to make my train on time. Will definitely need another proper listen. Tiny Goddess is wonderful though.

9) Lesley Gore - I’ll Cry If I Want To (1963)

Was very pleasantly surprised to see Misty blow up on TikTok recently, even if I prefer the Johnny Mathis version. When it came to pre-Beatles pop, the girls always had the upper hand and Lesley is the proof. Really good (tearful) fun.

8) Roger Nichols and the Small Circle of Friends (1968)

A long-time favourite. One of my comfort food albums, I can stick it on any time and it’ll cheer me up. Snow Queen is marvellous and enchanting, and even the covers are inventive and unique. A real gem.
