Much of Abbott’s endeavors garner tons of attention but later fizzle out, by vote or by law; I hope this is one of them. Usually he knows what he proposes isn’t going to pass judicial scrutiny, so he avoids blame when proposals fail while keeping voter base approval.

The babes first exposed/infected start kindergarten this year. Perhaps they will now be subject to reportable monitoring for meeting pre pandemic academic standards.
