PySide / PyQt are great. I use qtpy as a transition lay so I can use both. As I also teach a lot of VFX software (Maya / Houdini) Qt is our main GUI toolkit.

No it's using PySide for the main app / canvas my nccapy module for the Math side of things numpy for buffers and wgpu for the WebGPU stuff.
