Made my annual batch of harvest soup this weekend! No recipe, really, I just roast a bunch of orange and red things with olive oil and salt, and then put it all in a crock pot with chicken stock and garlic and a crap load of paprika and pepper. Blend until smooth when it's all cooked!

Celebrated my bday with friends kids a perfect afternoon goofing around, barbecue, and cupcakes! Friend's daughter decorated this one.
She said that if we cut off a unicorn horn to use as a birthday candle, there had to be blood, right? I love those kids and their gleefully macabre sense of humor.
