I’ve been reading the wiki page of the play now and it makes it seem that Henry/Vecna had an early connection to the Mind Flayer from an accidental Dimension X encounter with the technology Dr. Brenner was using while living in Nevada that enabled his psychic abilities and altered biological state.

Part, but I don’t know how much the connection between One, the Shadow Monster, & Will could be utilized by either side with the SM’s essence being released from Will, unless there was another form of “piggybacking” like the s4 finale.

I felt like the s2 Shadow Monster focus was still important regardless of Vecna/One being in the Upside Down revealed in s4, making me feel like One & the Shadow Monster were more symbiotic. I would like to see a twist toward the Shadow Monster using One as its main host & Will as their counter…

AI in our modern parlance often refers to the generative AI like chatbots and Sora and the ilk, but the technology that got us to this point, the machine learning, is genuinely amazing stuff. ChatGPT etc. are like discovering nuclear power and turning it into atomic warheads instead of energy.

The new Cheering Crowd from Spider-Man or the exclusive hybrid cards from the Clue boxes would be my first additions to other decks. Boros strike-captain, afterlife insurance, Carnage interpreter, Dimir Strandcatcher, Syndicate Heavy and others.

Using hybrid cards for Lilah would be an interesting addition to the deck, but I don’t think I would want to incorporate any into my list because it feels like breaking the commander’s own restriction.

I’m in the camp of mummies being a form of zombie, especially so in terms of TCG card types, as seen on Amonkhet for Magic and in various cards for Yu-Gi-Oh!

My decks don’t overlap to make me play one over any other, but these are definitely my top few. Training Grounds and Brainstorm are probably in the same spot, just more popular cards. Also Phantasmal Bear and Realmwright are some pet cards of mine

Chainer, Nightmare Adept is already a really good card, but this deck perfectly utilizes it for casting creatures already in the graveyard and enabling Mayhem on the creatures you discard. Giving everything haste while you’re also reducing the cost by {2} with Fleem seems ridiculous.

I’d definitely also appreciate seeing some love for the Artisan and Gladiator formats for those who do get to play them

My #1 answer has to be #PDH (Pauper Commander), but outside of the multiplayer EDH variants, I’ve started looking into Tiny Leaders Reborn, Value Vintage, Pauper, and Highlander Gauntlet as interesting play spaces.

I have my Sivriss/Cloakwood Hermit #EDH deck with an insect subtheme but I’m splitting it into an Amzu insect deck with Grist, Izoni, and Aatchik in the 99, and the Sivriss/Cloakwood as a “leaves the graveyard” more political leaning deck. Hope you’re having fun bugging everyone with your deck too!
