I was watching YouTube clips from a favorite show, Babylon 5, and this one hits home in today's climate. We may be at the beginning of losing our freedoms but this line is so very appropriate:

Thatcherism much liked by Starmer is the root cause of all the problems Britain now faces
Lack of social housing
Water infrastructure at breaking point
Electricity prices spiralling
Water charges spiralling
Gas charges spiralling
Telecom charges spiralling
Privatisation was great
Wasn't it
When the water industry was privatised in 1989, it had zero debt. Since then, it's accumulated combined debt of £60bn. This has been used to pay shareholders £72bn in dividends & to refinance companies: so original investors paid themselves back the original cost, ie they get the companies for free.

The Reform party want to get rid of the 20mph zones in Wales.

The BBC say, in the 12mths from Oct23 to Sep24 collisions were down 26% in 20mph areas & 100 fewer were killed or seriously injured.

I think Reform should be pressed to explain themselves & to say how they will justify future deaths.

OK, this is wild.

In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them.

It was picked up in the Arctic. And Antarctica. It was detected everywhere, every 90 seconds, as regular as a metronome, for *nine days*.

What the HELL?

To those who relentlessly attack disabled people, what makes you think you’re immune from illness or disability? Everyone is one illness or injury away from disability. No-one is immune. One day you could be disabled & on the receiving of stigma, hatred & cruel govt policies.

What’s happening in America is exactly what Reform want.

Remove checks and balances, kill the NHS, reduce public services to zero, hoodwink the public - all to give billionaires a tax break.

It’s causing stock market and plane crashes, recession 💥

Don’t #ReformUK into oblivion
