There aren’t any plans to add more games, as this is a partnership with Bandai Namco in terms of the games used on this device, but it would be interesting to see something in a future iteration where maybe an data port could be added to implement more games.

This is purely a living room experience. Pop it on your tv console and chill out with 2-player co-op or bust out the single player with the pedal.

My experience has been nostalgic fun. It does exactly what it says, plug and play!

Upon setup, you’re met with a how to video followed by calibration of your GunCon, which is critical to do anytime you change to a different monitor / tv regardless of size.

The console itself is roughly the size of a PS1 case, and set up was fairly easy minus the initial power on issue I had for a brief moment. I haven’t had it since that first start up.

I had a chance to test it out at LI Retro a couple months back at their demo booth, and was super impressed with how well everything worked there. It brought back the nostalgia vibes of both my arcade days and my PS2 era of GunCon games, specifically Time Crisis 2 for me.
