Last Friday, I was delighted to represent London in the 14th Direct Dialogue between EU Capital Mayors and the European Commission hosted by the Mayor of Warsaw. Good to share @london.gov.uk work on creating resilient cities and learning from others.

Delighted to visit @BramptonManor1 in Newham today, one of many schools who recently achieved their @mayorofldn.bsky.social Healthy Schools London Gold award. It was great hear about their work to support healthy eating, including the success of their cooking club and farm!

Wonderful visit today to hear how #SelbyUrbanVillage Tottenham is moving ahead with plans for better community spaces, sports, opportunities for adults & young people & new council homes.Plans have been supported by @MayorofLondon @haringeycouncil and government.

We also visited the incredible team at Northside Youth & Community Connexions who are creating positive opportunities for our young people.

Great to have @KayaJunction, the Dep Mayor for Policing and Crime in Enfield & Haringey today. We heard from @MPSEnfield about their Clear, Hold, Build initiative - working with local partners @EnfieldCouncil @haringeycouncil to make our area safer and support local communities.

When I visit schools to see the universal free school meals programme I’m always impressed with how our schools have embraced this initiative - they can see the benefits and how it supports their families and children. (2/2)

Evaluation of @mayorofldn.bsky.social universal free school meals programme is very positive and is helping nearly 18,000 additional children in Enfield & Haringey alone. Families have less financial pressure, relationships with school improve, wellbeing and energy to learn is improving. (1/2)
