Author-illustrator @joebot.bsky.social Spiotto learned about axolotls through his kids. Spiotto became fascinated by them. He considered facts about axolotls when developing his new graphic novel Max, a Little Axolotl(Graphix)” www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/... @pwkidsbookshelf.bsky.social

As always, today is a good day to support artists, writers, creators. If you have the means, maybe consider signing up for a Patreon. Buy a book, a game, a painting. Commission a new piece. Tell a creator what they mean to you. Signal boost their work.

I’m sure he signed a lot of stuff at the end there because he wasn’t in the best of care watching out for his best interests.

I was invited to be a guest at LA Comic Con, but this has me reconsidering my attendance. I just e-mailed my contact and if you're an invited artist, author, cosplayer, etc. I suggest you do the same. This is a disgusting and disturbing use of AI and I hope they shut this down. #LAComicCon

This is disgusting.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.
Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel
Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.

Maybe doing yard work in 95 degree heat wasn't the best idea.

This is so disappointing, what a waste of money, time, effort and an interesting property. Feel so bad for the devs who spent years on this for nothing.

It’s here! Moose’s Bad Hair Day is officially out in the world! Stop by your local bookstore or wherever you buy books online to pick it up today!

A photo of the book, Moose's Bad Hair Day! On the cover, there is a cartoon illustration of Duck looking terrified while holding one of Moose's antlers and a pair of scissors. In the background, Moose is sitting in a barber's chair made of snow seeming to not quite notice his head is missing an antler.

Just the type of person you'd expect to use AI art to sell at a booth a convention.

For folks at Dragon Con, the artist alley booths to avoid are A10, Oriana Gerez, and D2, James C Mulligan. The first seems to be a shell company with little online presence and the second is an ex-Disney artist. Both are being accused of selling works with Gen ai.

I mean... I don't want to get my hopes up.
