This is the fourth public meeting focused on the “housing equation,” with others held at other ward offices earlier this year.

There are a number of city employees, but also several county employees and several community groups that are here today.

ICYMI: Ward 5 voters saw one name on the ballot… and thousands still said “nah.” Selina Barajas won easily, but more than 19,000 people skipped her race entirely. Meanwhile, Prop 414 passed but even some loyal Democrats couldn’t stomach a $205-a-year tax increase.
