Watched some good films lately! Predator Badlands was a real highlight! Elle Fanning was a delight, and Dan Trachtenberg just knows how to make these films work! #LastFourWatched

My trip to the Nintendo Pop-up store in London was well worth it for these!

Rolled credits on Pokemon Legends Z-A last night and really had a blast! I’ve got quibbles for sure, but I was also reminded of why I love this series so much.

Also, love the customisation. If only I could pull this look off 😅

Loved The Roses, and can’t believe it took me so long to watch Fantastic Mr Fox. Of course I had to rewatch the Mario movie in honour of the 40th anniversary, but Honey Don’t was a big disappointment. Was just all over the place and then kinda just ended. #LastFourWatched

Plenty of entertaining films this last week, but The Life of Chuck was something else. Gonna need some rewatches, but it’s already up there as one of my favourites.

At least having the Gamescom show on wasn’t a complete waste of time.

Seriously though, can the soulslike genre just go away forever now. Or at the very least try being something other than some gothic horror blood fest.

Some really great films this week! I think Stand By Me will stick with me a while, and has me even more excited to see Life of Chuck when it finally releases here next week!

A day playing arcade games with friends, ending with the purchase of Mario Kart Lego. Definitely call this a good (unexpectedly expensive 😅) Saturday!

P.S. Those dancing games on high difficulty are a hell of a workout 😂

Got a birthday card that said to spend the day in my happy place. So naturally I spent the day in the cinema. Four films, one day, fun times.

Ochi was the only disappointment, and I can’t believe I took so long to watch Asteroid City. Overall a pretty solid run! #LastFourWatched

Of all the films I watched today, The Naked Gunn was by far the best! Joke after joke hitting hard, tonnes of sight gags that I’m sure would benefit a 2nd viewing, and everyone involved just clearly having a great time making something so fun!

Birthday means a full day at the cinema! Got Friendship, The Legend of Ochi, and The Naked Gun all lined up 😁

Nothing too crazy this week. A couple short films that were cute but not much more.

The comedy in Spaceballs just really didn’t land for me, but there were parts I appreciated.

Loved Fantastic 4 though! Very heartfelt, and a promising effort from Marvel. #LastFourWatched #LetterboxdFriday

Was a pretty amazing week for films! Not pictured is Luca, which I loved, and which made me wish more people would go see Elio because Pixar rocks! #LastFourWatched #Letterboxd

I’m a lil bit very obsessed with Bananza.

It’s Bananza time!!!

Think it’s safe to say I enjoyed Superman 😅 Didn’t plan on going to see it two days in a row, but I’m happy I did.

I love how earnest James Gunn’s films are. Can be the most ridiculous premise, but he’ll still manage to bring out the heart in anything.

We’re fully funded! Ninsight hit its target, so now we get to bring you a magazine full of Nintendo goodness!

If you ever wanted to read a story about a kid spiralling on Christmas morning because his Torchic evolved, then this is the magazine for you 😅

Not done one of these for a spell, but seen some fantastic films lately, as well as one unfortunate dud. The latest Jurassic World had brief fun moments, but really didn’t do it for me. #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

I may have gone a touch overboard at Doncaster Gaming Market today…

Damn Pixar really know how to punch you in the heart don’t they 😭

28 Years Later is mad, beautiful, thrilling, fun, and emotional all at once. There were moments I genuinely forgot what kind of film I was watching but in the best possible way.
