Yeah, Zyndranowa in Gmina Dukla seems highly unlikely. The rail journey described in the text goes north and east to the front; Zyndranowa was to the west.

Broke out my 1856 Scheda Generalkarte and zoomed in on Nove Misto...nothing a two-hour march from there looks anything like "Cindra Nuowa"...could that be a a made-up name since after they left the place was 'new cinders'?

Odd. The time-lapse feature in Google Earth Pro shows they started the installation sometime in 2017, and zooming in shows some type of obfuscation at the lower altitudes in 2018. The regular view when you come down just reverts to showing the 2016 image
