Steal $20 from your boss, let him call the cops, see how quickly they show up to arrest you.

Catch your boss stealing hundreds from your paychecks, call the cops, see how long they laugh before they say “not our job”.
Loosies

What the hell happened to cis men? I feel like I left the dating pool and all the guys that were still in it just lost their god damn minds.

Any Democratic candidate who doesn’t put “defund, eliminate and prosecute ICE” in their platform, will not be getting my vote.
December 1, 2025 at 3:42 PM
lol it may seem that way for sure, but it’s more than a coin flip. It’s a coin flip where we can actually ensure which side comes up, if we try.
December 1, 2025 at 3:40 PM
I figured that’s what you meant lol. I hate autocorrect, it has yet to autocorrect correctly.
December 1, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Unique yes, but hardly insurmountable.

We are perfectly capable of solving these problems. Just as we are equally capable of going extinct through our own incompetence.
December 1, 2025 at 3:27 PM
It’s a big stupid grift, a bubble doomed to burst, and when it does, the servants of Capital will use taxpayer money to subsidize the losses of the wealthy.
December 1, 2025 at 3:25 PM
They will just fall for the next Nazi grifter with an ounce of charisma.
December 1, 2025 at 3:20 PM
That’s a tall order, but I doubt many Christians that have lived over the last 2000 years have actually done this. Same for most every religion

I think it’s impossible to say “is Putin a Christian in his heart”, but we can definitely say, he proclaims himself to be one and has for a long time.
December 1, 2025 at 2:58 PM
Agreed, the status quo between ruler and church now in Russia is very similar to how it was in the days of the Czar.
December 1, 2025 at 2:45 PM
I would say that history proves that humanity is in a constant state of changing the status quo.

We may resistant it, yet we also push toward change inexorably

We are equally genetic cousins to the patriarchal violent Chimpanzee as we are the matriarchal peaceful Bonobo. Our species is a conundrum

We don’t need to evolve to solve this crisis. That statement alone insinuates that Capitalism is our nature, when it very much is not.

We don’t need to fundamentally change human beings. We just need to change who owns what.
December 1, 2025 at 2:35 PM
Okay but you see how that means that most people who claim to be a religion are then not part of that religion right? It’s a delineation that isn’t realistic.

I know exactly zero Christians who live as Christ told them to live. They would be very upset to hear you define them as atheists.
December 1, 2025 at 2:34 PM
These all sound like reasons why a revolution is imminent to me.
December 1, 2025 at 2:15 PM
Our cooperative nature is already there. It’s the system of Capitalism that we have cobbled together that incentivizes our worst instincts, don’t mistake that for being our nature.

Humanity lived communally far longer than we have lived any other way.

Don’t be defeatist.
December 1, 2025 at 2:14 PM
This doesn’t mean revolution is far away. Are you under the impression most people didn’t believe idiotic superstitious nonsense in Russia in 1917?

The masses are always dragged forward by the revolution. Not the other way around.
December 1, 2025 at 2:12 PM
That’s a pretty strange assertion to make. Putin’s Orthodox faith goes back far before the fall of the USSR.

And the head of the Orthodox Church was never in the KGB, and has been in the church since 1970.

You know what it takes to be a Christian? Saying “I’m a Christian”.And he definitely is one.
December 1, 2025 at 2:09 PM
No, but it is a Nazi who did something heroic. As per your comparison
November 30, 2025 at 9:43 PM
That may well be true, but my point is that she was happy to ignore the overwhelming evidence of his character and his actions for most of a decade.

She will do the same for whichever Nazi grifter is the next Republican chosen one.
November 30, 2025 at 8:21 PM
Except she had no problem with it for the last 9 years. She just suddenly has a problem with it now.
November 30, 2025 at 7:48 PM
I would bet that the relative autonomy Soviet states like Ukraine enjoyed in the USSR will be far greater than the autonomy Ukraine will enjoy if Russia wins this war.
November 30, 2025 at 6:09 PM
You think it’s impossible for a terrible person to commit a single heroic act?

It doesn’t outweigh the evils he committed, but yeah, it is still heroic to willingly put yourself in harms way for your compatriots. Even if it’s in the name of a terrible cause.

No, blowing up Vietnamese homes isn’t heroic. Getting captured isn’t heroic.

Turning down the opportunity to get released from captivity early and instead spending 5 more years in captivity because you wouldn’t leave other POWs behind, is heroic though.
November 30, 2025 at 5:57 PM
A new order that will look very much like the old Tsarist order.

I just keep seeing the “he wants to bring back the USSR” narrative and like…..the USSR and the Russian Empire were very very different animals, and he has his sights aimed on one, not the other.
