When a cabinet member announces "We are using the military to liberate an American city from its elected leaders," where do you go from there. What is left to say. The idea of that being anything short of a near-universal "Wait, what the fuck is going on" moment proves how far we've backslid.

We’ve become used to right wingers throwing tantrums every time black people are on tv in something everyone is watching (the olympics, superbowl, ect) but it’s actually fucking weird and we shouldn’t act like that’s a normal reaction

Just listened to Judge Luttig make the essential point that disqualification under the 14th amendment isn't undemocratic, it's the *behavior* that results in disqualification that is undemocratic.
Attempting to overthrow an election to stay in power is the antithesis of democracy.
