This frenetic impulse to quash humanitarian aid impiies Dickens, Chaplin, Steinbeck, Conrad have been completely ignored. I can only suppose millions of Americans don't read and/or are obsessed with pseudo-reality & game shows, horror & action movies, video games, sports events, ... The Coiosseum.

You have to be a special kind of horrible to be one of the hostile conservative anonymous trolls that haunted @berkeleyside.org’s comments for years. Their ideas were wrong, their arguments were poor,, and they never, ever used their real names (except for one of the worst, who just ran away.)

Brand is of course still awating trial on UK rape charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty; this is evidently not an impediment to appearing at gatherings with Republican officials including the vice president and HHS secretary.
