Seems like lately there's an owl who's suddenly willing to let me see it but still knows how to avoid getting photographed. It's in the center of the shot, in a branch on the left side of the little clump of trees. Barred, probably.

The deer already seem to like the new 1/10-mile mini-trail I finished cutting on Sunday before the snow. Lots of hoofprints most of the way along.
