My first logbook holds many great aviation memories. It is in the nightstand next to my bed. My second logbook also has memories, but mostly less vivid ones. The last few pages coincided with beginning to log in ForeFlight. I did dual logging for a year, and then left paper logbooks behind.

Yeah. Early on after I gave up on Twitter, I was thrilled when so many accounts I followed showed up here. In hindsight, I think they only wanted to grab their usernames, and many went back to X.

If it weren’t for the fear of the cost of health care I would have retired a few years ago. I still figure I’ll be retired/laid off within 5 months.

I’ve just plain stopped donating. To those who I have a bit more care, I’ll bother to tell them why. Emails. Texts. Even calls. Terrible.

Yep. Two days ago, 80% of these leaves were still up on the branches. Just about to go outside and try to coax them into bins/bags.
