I emphasise slow, not stop; I don't think the latter is possible by now, if it ever was; within a couple of decades at the outside, the US will have to accept that it will not be king of the hill.

The current case before the US Supreme Court seeking to force TikTok to divest is part of a US strategy of cyber-encirclement, designed to slow China's rise to, at least, near parity with the US.

Do I believe TikTok either actually or potentially acts as an intelligence source for the Chinese government? I consider it highly probable; as I do that numerous tech entities carry out similar tasks for the US.
